Medication Forms for Band Camp

Please download and fill out a medication permission form if your student will be taking any over-the-counter or prescription medications to Band Camp. You will need a separate form for each medication. Forms can be turned in at the band room on Monday before we leave for camp. Click here to download the form.

2008 Toro Marching Band Registration Forms

All students who are planning to join the 2008 Toro Marching Band will need to download the registration forms. Included with the forms is information about payment of band fees. If you have Microsoft Word, please download the Word version, and fill out the form ON YOUR COMPUTER, then print it and mail it in. If you do not have Word, please download the PDF version, print it, and fill it out by hand. Forms and payments are now past due. The deadline date was May 22, however we can accept your forms and payments through May 29. Anything received after this date may not be accepted, and your student may lose his/her place in the marching band. Please note: The band room is not accessible due to construction, so all forms will need to be delivered to the Mountain View front office. Payments can be made at the bookstore, but you will need to check on their summer hours. If you need to contact Mr. Burgener, please do so by clicking "Contact Us" at the bottom of this page. Mr. Burgener cannot be reached by phone throughout the summer, as the band room is under construction. Do not leave a message on the band room phone... it won't be checked until the end of July.

2008 Marching Season Festivals/Competitions

Here are the tentative dates for Toro Marching Band festivals and competitions for the 2008 marching season. Please add these to your calendar now so that we don't have any conflicts. All events are required for marching band members.


     September 27 - Mountain Pointe Marching Invitational
     October 11 - North Canyon Marching Invitational
     October 18 - ASU Band Day
     November 1 - NAU Band Day
     November 8 - ABODA State Marching Festival

2008 Band Camp Dates Announced

All members of the Toro Marching Band are required to go to Band Camp. Next summer, our band camp will be held July 21 - 26. The location will be announced at a later date. The estimated cost of Band Camp is $350 per student. Arizona state tax credits may be used for Band Camp.
